I have been
conducting research in the area of Stage Fright for many
years. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have run
workshops and, of course, consulted with many individuals
in an effort to help them control their performance
anxiety.
Public
Speaking Anxiety
The Number One fear in America is the fear of Public
Speaking. To give you perspective, fear of dying is
Number Five. Jerry Seinfeld says, “Remember, the next
time that you’re at a funeral, most people would rather
be in the casket than delivering the eulogy.” Although it
covers most areas of Stage Fright, my most recent book
deals largely with this fear. Click on the book to find
out more information.
Music
and Sports
As both a musician and athlete, I have worked with many
musicians and athletes in the areas of Peak Performance
and reducing Performance Anxiety.
Auditions
and Interviews
Evaluation Anxiety is at the apex of Stage Fright.
Auditions and interviews are the bane of actors,
musicians and job seekers. There are many effective
interventions that can be acquired in one or two sessions
that make these situations much easier to succeed
at.
